About The Event
Given the recent global sociocultural shifts, artistic interpretation of the nature of
transformation is now more relevant than ever.
It is an attempt to capture the state of "in-between," when the former character of cultural
interactions is being dismantled and becomes outdated, and a new hierarchy has not yet
taken shape. The visual language of the project is characterized by the use of a wide range
of expressive means – from realistic figurative art to object-based, abstract, and digital art.
The Transformation Territory curatorial exhibition is presented by internationally
recognized artists with a unique combination of artworks in such genres as figurative
art paintings, sculpture, printed graphics, digital art, silk-screen printing, contemporary
ceramics, and textile.
